I'm new to mosaic crochet -- I just finished making the pieces in Tinna's Beginner Guide -- so I really need the extra guidance, especially on figuring out when to do BLO and when to do both loops. I really love the joy that Tinna exudes in these videos. It's a great reminder never to take yourself too seriously. On to part 4!

I'm a little confused with all the numbers on the chart. For the Stairway to heaven blanket version, you said you did 6 repeats... is that 6x28 then add the 5 extras (plus a turning chain)? You didn't include a starting chain in the pattern info.

I really want to commend you for how you approached teaching this. I’ve probably been a beginner crochet or for about 50 years now. It’s always been hard for me to look at new techniques. I’ve stayed at this beginner stage forever because I couldn’t get my brain into, how to approach new ways to do crochet . You went slow enough that I could see how you were working and why you were working because you talked as you crocheted. This is very helpful. I feel like I’ve added a new skill into my repertoire. 47:14 47:17

I watched your videos on this, while working on my son’s blanket, I hope to finish next month. But I planned on doing this when I was finished. Well, you, my dear, have such an influence on me, I put my son’s blanket down and jumped into this with both feet! I am making the medium size, but my yarn is a lighter weight, so it is a good bit smaller. I will make a baby blanket. I am stitching like my pants are on fire! I am having a ball. Thank you!
